I bought this for a green star 1000 combi boiler but it wasn't quite long enough for my thick stone wall so had to buy the next one up. I took it out of the box, extended it and passed it through the hole (big hole so wasn't forced through or anything but may have the odd tiny mark). So it's basically new, it was never fitted at all. I paid about £120 for it but left it too long to return.
